Why Pharm-Aloe® Freeze Dried Aloe Vera Leaf Juice?Liquid Aloe Vera Leaf Juice as it comes from the aloe plant is approximately 98.5% water and 1.5% solids. The solids contain all of the active ingredients, such as polysaccharides, glycoproteins, amino acids, vitamins and enzymes. By freeze drying we remove the naturally occurring water leaving all the active ingredients in the solids. We then encapsulate the Aloe Vera Leaf Juice solids at the rate of 450 mgs per capsule which is equivalent to 2 fluid ounces of Pharm-Aloe 99.7% Aloe Vera Leaf Juice. If for any reason, such as taste, traveling, convenience, you now have a product that is efficacious, palatable, and easy to use.Why Aloe Vera Leaf Juice?Pharm-Aloe® Aloe Vera Leaf Juice has 3-6 times more potency than Aloe Vera "Fillet" or "Inner" Leaf Juice. This is due to the fact that the greatest concentration of active ingredients is where the rind of the Aloe Vera leaf interfaces with the inner gel of the leaf. If, in processing, only the inner gel is removed from the leaf and the rind discarded, you lose 300% - 600% of the active ingredients.
